ha, well we currently pay $3k pm for a 1 bed, and that's considered a bargain for the space we have, so that sounds pretty good to me.

Got my GC!

I finally got my Greencard!

April 2008 - moved to NYC on L1B.
Jan 2011 - switched to H1B
July 2012 - started PERM process.
May 2015 - got the GC!

Cant remember the exact dates when PERM was...

yeah, just heard from HR today. Our lawyer (Fragomen) advised that we should renew H1B regardless of the EAD.

I would differentiate between 'education' and 'experience' i.e. work experience. I was not aware that they could use A-Level study as part of the 12 year quota and I havent seen it mentioned here...
