ha, well we currently pay $3k pm for a 1 bed, and that's considered a bargain for the space we have, so that sounds pretty good to me.

Got my GC!

I finally got my Greencard!

April 2008 - moved to NYC on L1B.
Jan 2011 - switched to H1B
July 2012 - started PERM process.
May 2015 - got the GC!

Cant remember the exact dates when PERM was...

So I started a thread just last week, as I'd received my EAD in the mail and had a couple of questions. I mentioned that the TSC timeline looked like they working with a 6 month delay for i485...

yeah, just heard from HR today. Our lawyer (Fragomen) advised that we should renew H1B regardless of the EAD.

The Jan 2015 visa bulletin just came out, and my priority date is now current (or whatever the technical term is)! :lol:

I already have the approved i140 and PERM stuff, so now they need to file...

I would differentiate between 'education' and 'experience' i.e. work experience. I was not aware that they could use A-Level study as part of the 12 year quota and I havent seen it mentioned here...
