Whilst doing some research we came...

Re: Thoughts on Change to Visa Regs.

Well fingers crossed then that Spain aligns itself alongside Portugal cause it's a damn site cheaper. You only need a joint income of approximately 10000 Euro's for the D7 visa. All for unity and...

Re: Thoughts on Change to Visa Regs.

If the figure of 300000 Brits in Spain is anywhere near the correct figure then I would hazard a guess that at least a third of them are getting a bit of sun on the cheap. Can the Costa's truly...

Re: Budgeting for Canada

We live on an acreage ( Manitoba ), home insurance initially was $2000 per year. We did what all the locals did and go to the local broker. Something that we would never have done in the UK but...

Re: Beverley or York

Why not look at Stamford Bridge. We lived there for 10 years before our move to Canada in 2011. Great little community with good schools and easily commutable to York (if you know the short cuts). We...

Re: Will we look back in time, and say we bought at the bottom in 2014

I do hope you are right.

I'm no expert but I really can see some repercussions after April 29 2019, wether its the Euro dropping through the floor or the Spanish house price recovery (as small as...

Re: Car Insurance Cheaper in Canada?

The wifes Fiat 500 is $1650 here, the same car 6 years ago in the UK cost her Gbp 198. Even if you take into account the rise in inflation over the 6 years the difference is outrageous. But what can...
