If you are going to use any credit card abroad I would check first with your provider that you are authorised to use it before you fly.

I got caught out by not advising my credit card company and...

We just got 1.19 euro to 1 UK pound - from a UK travel agent - I cant see the uk pound getting much better - it will affect what we can afford to buy in CP, especially as the prices there are going...

We too returned to the UK (yesterday) from Central Portugal after looking to purchase a ruin and land.

We found the perfect plot, offered full asking price and were set to sign at the solicitors...

I would definitely recommend a restaurant in Silves - sorry dont know the name - you follow the main road through Silves along the river and when you get to the turn off by the cemetary you turn left...
