I had more fun living 4 years in KSA than in living 11 years in Dohell. THAT I can tell you for sure. Oh...and I met my (western) husband while living in KSA. Just sayin'.....

Almost all the better compounds have apartments/serviced studios for short term stay.
I know for sure Eid compound does and Kingdom does. Availability is, of course, another matter.

Lol...you do NOT want carpet. Remember, the desert is close. The dust and sand accumulating in houses is incredible. Carpet is obviously not a good idea.

Try Al Fardan Garden compound on D Ring. It's between the Mall and Lulu.
There are also a lot of smallish compounds on the "backside" of Lulu. Maybe worth a look. I think one of them is called Al...
