Surely it will not be long until your spouse gets Brit Cit and then no problem.
OH has ILE and not really had any problems. Will not be applying for BRP as want to keep the passport etc

Why not email the same email you sent the additional documents to . remind them you applied when you applied and ask why it is taking them so long. do it yourself as you are the applicant

the marriage visit visa is purely that - if you plan to marry during the visit and then return to your own country.
Fiancee visa is for someone who plans to get married within 6 months of arrival...
