We applied Feb 2011 and have just had our date for the test and swearing in ceromony (obviously if the test is passed) Jan 27, 2012 at 8am in Calgary! Woo Hoo!

Well I have been there a couple of times, very small town, nothing like Okotoks or Cochrane. They have a somewhat new feel to it, whereas Strathmore is old looking and feeling, a slower pace of life....

If you want to apply for a federal Job preference will be given to a citizen over a PR. Applying from England, not sure you would have any success unless they could not fill a specialised job....

we brought our lexmark from UK we just changed our power cord with the Canadian plug on, works great! Just check that the voltage to run the printer can be between 110 and 240.
