Any experience used to deem you skilled cannot be counted as skilled experience - and only skilled experience counts for points.

If you require 8 years experience to be deemed skilled, and you have 10, then 2 years would count for points - provided that those 8 years are accepted.

I'm not sure there is much encouragement that can be given.

The 482 would require you to have a skill in demand, an employer able to sponsor you, and is a temporary visa requiring you to work for...
