You dont need to do anything when you get to Oz unless you breakdown. Then you just ring the state motoring organisation depending where you are. Make sure you have your card on you though.

He should have added however, that you can use your UK membership in Australia until it runs out. UK and Australia have a reciprocal agreement between motoring organisations and you will be entitled...

I finally managed to get through to my daughter in London. She said my ex (her dad) is on his day off so thats a relief but my son in law is a London bus driver and he IS at work. Not sure where...

Extremely worried.

Just heard on the news theres been 2 explosions on the tube network Aldgate and Edgware Road.

Anyone got any more news? My ex is a maintainence contractor at Edware Road....

I try to avoid the "sweetie" aisles at the supermarket Mrs DB so never really look when i'm there. I never liked the pez sweets either. Just like your boys i collected the plastic animal head...

I know its a long way from your place Elaine, but try that shop in Glenelg. It has heaps and heaps of old Brit sweets and stuff. Mnay of hte things mentioned in this thread are in there. Worth a try.

This thread made me take a trip to the "English" shop in Glenelg.
They had those Pez thingys there.. remember them? little rectangular packs and you put them into a plastic toy thing to dispense...
