First, you need to make sure your phone is dual band (most mobiles sold in the UK in the last few years are, so as long as yours isnt a brick, you should be ok), and make sure its not network locked....

I cant really give you a non-biased opinion but I'll just add my 2 cents and say I also think Kapiti is a lovely place, but then I would as I grew up there :) Having been in the UK for four years now...
