Ha!!!
The CVS photos came with an impressive list of green ticks, suggesting that they should be good enough - or something. Maybe good enough for US passports, but us Brits clearly have standards...

Thanks, Lion - I've just had my picture took at Snappy Snaps. Easy peasy, literally took 2 minutes, and they even uploaded the photo to the .GOV website.

But this still leaves my husband and sons...

What I find difficult to understand that the photos we had taken at CVS - supposedly official passport photos! - were unacceptable. For all three of us these photos came up as POOR, supposedly...
