Well they all have employment visas and did so prior to moving into their own accommodation so that's not an issue.

When you get your job - if they offer accommodation allowances negotiate as part of your package that they replace the accommodation allowance with a 'cost of living' allowance for the same amount.

IMO you can't be too organised but you can overload yourself with information. True 'Melbourne' is a huge area so it is important to narrow...
