you have to check the extent of the property from the transfer plan. if the title was split when the sale was made to yourself there must have been a plan attached to the transfer deed both parties...

we've done this trip a few times now and used a few airlines. we prefer to fly through now as short stopovers seem to make the end jetlag worse when you get to oz. picking the flight times is good...

We transferred a large sum (for us i.e. 100k+) from aussie to sterling and shopped the brokers. In the end we went with HSBC where we had an account as for large amounts they book you a special rate....
