Re: B2 Visa Application - Administrative Processing

The AP is probably a result of the fact that you live in Serbia.

Re: Getting confused with visas

Hi. What is your husband's line of work? What will he be doing in the US? Does his employer have a US presence?

It's up to the employer to arrange visas. What do they say about this? You can't...

Re: Fulbright and the 2-year HRR

How about spending the two years of the HRR in Canada, or some other country (e.g. Australia), if you can find work there?

Re: Nationality Changed after B1 Visa on Previous Passport, Arrest but No Conviction

I am not sure if this is the case, since the OP is no longer an Indian citizen (Indian citizenship is automatically lost upon obtaining another citizenship by naturalisation).

Re: Convert B1/B2 1 year visa to 5 years

From what you have written so far, you don't seem to understand the difference between visa and status. A "visa" only allows you to knock on the door and ask to be let in. Once you are admitted on...

Re: US passport for UK travel?

My USC brother in law visited us in Europe back in February for two weeks. During this time he entered the UK twice without any problems.

Re: Help with B-2 visa

It depends on whether the OP is registered with AIRE (a state register of Italians living abroad). If she is not, then a trip to Italy would be pointless, as the comune where she applied would need...

Re: Help with B-2 visa

Are you by any chance not registered with AIRE? That would explain the long delay, since the consulate would need to receive the authorisation (nulla osta) from your comune of residence. In that case...

Re: Fat people - I need help

Marocco, but Duffer is not 'fasting', just spends 2 days a week (of his choice) limiting his calorie intake to 600, the other 5 days he eats (and drinks) as normal. As you say, eating only 600 cals a...

Re: Will I be able to return to UK? waiting for my daughters I130 to be approved!

In another thread (http://britishexpats.com/forum/showthread.php?t=785287), OP said she got her green card via her parents in 2010 and has been in the UK ever since, apart from a quick visit to the...

Re: Offered a US job, trying to get a visa quickly

You don't need a UK based immigration attorney. Personally I'd use a US-based one, and communicate by phone or over the internet.

EB-2 would be great if your goal is living in the US. Otherwise you...

Re: sponsorship by green card holde question

That doesn't make sense. Either she is a permanent resident (green card holder) or a US citizen (i.e., eligible for a US passport). She can't be both.

Re: Fat people - I need help

Duffer: fasting, or eating only 600 kcal per day, is in general a very bad idea. If you do that you'll lose muscle to a large extent, which in turn leads to a lower basal metabolic rate (BMR). As a...
