Clearly one has to be dumb to be married to more than one person at the same time, and its even worse when one files to US for both of them.

so does it follow that if one becomes USC via marriage they will always be looked at suspiciously if they divorce and file to bring someone from outside the US?

If I were you, I would go to the selective service site and get the free status information letter from them. It says whether you are eligible to register and is issued once in your lifetime to show...

A friend had an INFOPASS appointment and was told that they will resume resume N-400 interviews soon.

He asked me to ask on here whether anyone knows why this is so....

Why do you assume one is 'lucky' to marry a USC? Some USCs are worser than the devil himself. If marrying is looked at as a path to getting a greencard, it would be last on the list of 'best ways to...
