For clarity, a regulated occupation is one that has a regulatory body that oversees members, such as Lawyers, Accountants, Realtors, Engineers
Some trades are required to be licensed, some not....

Any larger greenhouse range can end up as a marijuana facility now. Lots of veggie and flower greenhouses are being converted and new ones being built, especially in the Lower Mainland....

For the medical coverage ours does not have that requirements, we are covered for day trip to the US or longer trips overseas. For trip interruption and cancellation then the trip has to be paid for...

You will need an ON license if you live in ON. In the US, driving without a proper license, could end up with no insurance coverage. Not something I would be doing anywhere, but especially the US....

Not necessarily. Tax residency and immigration status are quite separate. The taxpayer does not get to choose where they are tax resident, CRA may still consider him tax resident and require a TD1...

Commuting is not pleasant. FV to Vancouver was the worst with traffic, Calgary to Vancouver the easiest. There are some easy flight connections in BC to Vancouver. The cost may be an issue though....
