There are two levels of RCMP checks you can get - a local one that takes about 2 weeks and the full one with fingerprints that take up to 150 days (!).

Agree with Flossie - the forms we did were one page of "have you had this or that disease" - takes about 5 minutes. We did ours in the waiting room.
