from my past interest I seem to remember that the UK foundation degrees are only 2 years and will not come out as equivalent to a bachelors degree, although I guess they'll meet AQF Diploma...

I'd have thought it was worth the paperwork, although I believe the pension is frozen at the rate it is when you leave the UK, no index linking etc.
