So I left in 2009 and spent about 18 months in Abu Dhabi in the construction sector. I am now painfully unemployed in Australia as our economy has gone to shit. I was earning about 26-28k inclusive...

Well its a little bit better than 2008. There were almost no vacancies and the cheapest that was liveable for a westerner was 70k. The last place I lived in was a 1 bedroom in a villa somewhere...

I believe she asked them to do it multiple times. I will find out if they gave a reason. She was told they don't do them in Abu Dhabi.
