Re: Avoid mobile contract with SFR

SFR are a problem when it comes to landline service and broadband. Total service failure last October which they blamed on me. All efforts to get them to check failed. So, wrote and cancelled...

Re: Flying US to France and then driving to UK with dogs - help!

I assume you have individual passports for the dogs and they are microchipped. You need to double check your timing with regard to the administration of the worming tablet, usually Drontal in France....

Re: I FEEL THAT I'M IN A PANIC!

Hi and welcome. Read and re-read your post and the good replies from some wise heads. It's about what you don't share that was touched on in one post. Why do you want to sell up and live in France?...

Re: SFR

I have spoken with Orange and perhaps because we had an account when fully resident, they say they are prepared to open one again, having first fixed the line connection, which they tested for me and...

Re: SFR

Sounds similar. After some research I came across two postal addresses for SFR, so I wrote a cancellation letter in French and English, also demanding repayment of two months fees. These I have sent...

Re: SFR

Concerns about SFR go from bad to worse. Decided to switch back to Orange, who as most know, own the line, bit like BT. Because I had a line with them previously, I am on their records. Their techie...

Re: SFR

Hi - finally some internet, but back in UK to achieve it. It seemed to me (us) that SFR just kept coming up with reasons to divert us. The line in was repaired when we were with Orange previously and...

Re: Introduction Thread (Somewhere to say Hi)

Our original foray into France was to buy a small town house in 85, then sold as I had fixed it up a bit to a French lady. Bought detached house again in 85 close to beach. Your £80K ought to go a...
