HI there are lots of bands including some expat ones - there are particularly lot s in the Gers - and there is a big blues festival in the Gers every year

there are sans permis cars - 50cc - but the cars themselves are very expensive for what they are and I have no idea what the insiurance is like but I imagine it is exensive. You will not be able to...

As a recruiter in the industry - it is a difficult profession to be in right now - you will need to work 2/ 3 jobs to make ends meet - ideally hold a TEFL qualification , and be self employed.

in the uk you get quite a lof for child ben for one child then little or nothing for the second and nothing after that

It is the inverse in France where 1 child = nothing , 2 = similar to the uk...

you dont need to speak french initially to teach esl, though eventually it can help you progress.

20h is a lot here in France - 25 is considered full time as you are supposed to add on...

itis cheaper than it used to be ! The turnaround is around 10 days/ 2 weeks at the moment - I was terrified sending off the passport but for our daughter it was all ok - now just waiting for...

as I understand it as I am in the process of applying for training, you find the course , enter all the details given by the training organisation then wait for approval - in te case of employees...

the DIF no longer exists for employees

you now have the CPF compte personel de formation

Mon compte formation (http://www.moncompteformation.gouv.fr/)

instead of your employer...

our son is ambidextrous - it was fascinating watching him develop - he now does most things right handedly but still often eats left handedly and doesnt bother with a backhand in tennis

For me yes vaccinations - but TB is no longer compulsory - children have to have tetracoc - tetanus , typhoid, diptheria every 5 years

I agree about the BAC S but think ahead if your child wishes...
