Yes! .. They were really good.. Very good communication and good sized crate for the dog.

You're right about minting it ... I got a business class seat for less than it cost for the dog!

The fatality rate for covid-19 is at least 5 X that of seasonal flu!

Its out of control again! There were more than 350 deaths from covid-19 yesterday and hospitals are filling...

We moved to NZ in 2004 and back to the UK in 2017 ..
Financially we were really lucky with both moves (exchange rates and house prices)
It did seem more complicated moving back but that could have...

The bank knew I had emigrated and they also renewed my credit and debit cards while I was in NZ.
Maybe its just your bank?

The same when I moved back to the UK.
I've still got a Westpac account...

Why? When I lived in NZ I had UK credit card and bank accounts! The statements all got sent to my NZ address!

Sorry but yes!
Here in the UK some of those who think they have the flu actually turn out to have covid-19 and aren't tested until they are so sick they need hospital treatment!

I didn't have too much trouble finding a rental that would accept a dog when I moved back 2 1/2 yrs ago … I did have to pay 6 months rent upfront.

When we went to NZ on WTR (15 yrs ago) we had an EOI submitted as soon as we arrived and got PR not long after!
For us having PR gave us a much greater feeling of security.(rightly or wrongly)

I forgot to say that we enjoyed our time in NZ, it was a great experience and we are really glad we went.

We have no regrets about moving to NZ and none about moving back.

We moved back in 2017 after 13yrs in NZ.

What do we miss from NZ? .. A few of the friends we made and the empty roads. That's about it really.

What made us happy we'd come back? .....

Voltage in NZ is 230 same as UK so they will work fine!
