Re: Living In a Camper Van. Is it Feasible??

Look on this website for ideas and information. Fare enough, its mostly geared to people who are older than you, but most of the advice is brilliant and would still apply to you. Good luck.

Just my 2 cents here:

We had a cousins daughter (26yr) come stay with us in London, who I last saw as a child. I remember saying "she can stay with us till she gets on her own feet", how wrong...

Re: CITIZENSHIP APPLICATION

Sorry to stick my nose in.
What is the procedure for requesting a UK police clearance and sending it out to me in Sydney? We validated our visa Feb 07 and only moved over Nov 08.

Thanks

Re: cockroaches in my flat...

Give them no reason for being there by having no food out. Then do the roach bomb with windows closed for best effect, follow instructions on product. Also, buy those poison bait traps and put it...

Re: Eye Stye

My granny was a bit of a backyard medicine woman and I remember (probably because it is so weird) that the treatment for a sty was urine! I kid you not.

Re: Baby showers and expats

You will find that most Brits are a bit superstitious about having a party for a child that has not been born yet. And if they do have a last hooray for the mum to be, surely they can buy some...
