Correct. Tried calling and they said you need to show you're returning otherwise insurance void. Canadasure it is then....

Hi. Leave for Vancouver on Wednesday and just trying to arrange medical insurance.

Have got something through from 'Canadasure' offering 3 months' health and travel insurance until we can get BC...

We've just joined xetrade and so far so good. The sign up process is a bit arduous but once it's set up you can transfer money to their a/c in the UK for FREE (using BACS) and then they put the CAD...

Mail redirection - more than 2 years?

Can anyone help? :confused:

We've been having our mail redirected from the UK to Canada since January 2005. Royal Mail will only let you redirect for a maximum of 2 years - this date is fast...

Yes in the industry and originally was being sponsored for this coming season but then.....OUR PR VISAS CAME THROUGH!!!! YAY!!!! :D So didn't need the sponsorship!

Hi - we did something similar - came to Canada whilst waiting for our PR visa applications to be processed.

Assume you're flying in? If so, you have to fill out the immigration form before you...

Being 'drawn' on a Canadian bank means that a Canadian bank is going to pay the payee i.e. the Receiver General for Canada. The name of that bank must be written on the cheque - which will...

That's correct - although the High Commission's website states at: http://www.canada.org.uk/visa-info/fees/e_fees.htm

It's pretty straightforward - you ask your bank (any bank) for the draft, they tell you you can't have it straight away as they have to get it approved by dudes in Canada.
