When you are in the UK you will have to go to and get a "Permanent residents travel document" from a Canadian High Commission office.

The UK International Pension Centre will send your pension to any Canadian Bank, either as GBP or as CAN$.

If you formed a Canadian LTD Company who contracted you to the UK Company you could pay yourself from that Canadian company.

You may need a couple of years of trading though, I did this back in...

A Canadian lender will only look at the liability due to the problems in pursuing the asset value in a foreign country should you default. It's just not worth the hassle to them.

It's unfortunate, but any rental property with a loan against it is going to adversely effect the amount of money you can borrow.

The mortgage is a liability, but it is not offset by the rental as...
