First thing is to check the city bylaw allows you to have three cats.

Here in Ontario a landlord cannot discriminate if you have pets (as long as you are within the number permitted by bylaw) but...

Yes. You have to cut up your card. We actually were told to cut it up afterwards and sent a photo of the pieces.
Then you’re in limbo land until you get a Canadian passport as you can’t use your...

Well that was our experience. Certainly you need to get the import license and deal with it or they’ll dump everything out of the container.

Canada is trying to tell me that I should stay home while my husband and son go away. They got their passports a couple of days ago but not me. I’m ok with that. The house should be quiet.

We got an import license in 2011. Cost about $20. Then the official at NSLC in Halifax went through our list of booze and allocated values to it all. When hubby told them the Rémy Martin was worth...

Interesting. I was told I was not allowed to apply in person as I didn't have a trip scheduled. So ended up mailing our three applications on Dec 2nd. They got them on Dec 6th and didn't hear...

I was told in no uncertain terms that I couldn't go in to their office to apply. I had to send it via mail/courier. So we sent everything off on Dec 3rd. Confirmation received of delivery on Dec 6th...

Its a bit like jumping into a cold lake. Don’t think about it, just do it. I was nervous but the questions ended up much easier than I expected. The anticipation is the worst part.

Agreed. All the answers are in the book. The practice tests are misleading as they ask for tons of info not in the book.
