I love being here and still find myself wondering how we managed to get here. Is my stay about to end? Do I have to get on a plane and return to England? Suburban North Surrey seems a million miles...

No passport request for grandparent sponsorship approval

My mother received her COPR the other day on 30th June.

Fantastic news considering that she only undertook her medicals on 7th June.

Even better news, she doesn't have to send in her passport...

Mum and Dad couldn't work officially in the islands on visitors visas from what I recall. Mum was a writer and wrote for British and US magazines which didn't really pay very well. She could submit...

I am struggling to find a Canadian insurance company that will cover a visitor for longer than 180 days. They all say that they have not been informed about this new visa, that covers periods of stay...

There's nothing to stop you renewing your passport early......we did with a couple of our passports. If you do it during a quiet time of year then you'll get it back much quicker. I applied...

My mothers sponsorship application was sent by my Canadian brother in July 2008 and we await news too.

I haven't read through all the posts on this thread, but to answer the OP's question......we dropped our price by 3.5% after 5 months and sold a month later for 6.5% below our original asking price....
