Re: ENS Visa (121/856) Current Timescales (Part 2.....)

It's really unbelievable. I've been waiting for almost 10 months now. They haven't replied to any of my e-mail enquiries aside from the usual automatic reply thingy.

Re: ENS Visa (121/856) Current Timescales (Part 2.....)

I've been calling them and I also went to the Parra Centre of ?Excellence? few times to enquire personally. Dealing with them is purely a waste of my time since I get different answers about the...

Re: ENS Visa (121/856) Current Timescales (Part 2.....)

Re: ENS Visa (121/856) Current Timescales (Part 2.....)

You should be able to apply for onshore (visa sub-class 856) when on 457. Any other reason why you applied for offshore?

Re: ENS Visa (121/856) Current Timescales (Part 2.....)

CO was assigned on my case almost after 30 weeks, so 18 weeks is still fine, I think. And, no decision until now. No idea why

Re: Super Urgent - Citizenship application

4 years as resident (PR or temporary), with 1 year as PR prior to application. For example, you arrived in Oz with 457 visa last 2006, then you got your PR in 2009, by 2010, you can apply for...

Re: ENS Visa (121/856) Current Timescales (Part 2.....)

Obviously, it's very difficult to get the fact. But, there's no real harm in sharing information given by migration agents. It's up to the reader if he/she will believe or not. Don't...

Re: ENS Visa (121/856) Current Timescales (Part 2.....)

You're lucky that you've got an MA that gives facts. I think my MA doesn't have a clue on what's going on in DIAC. I will never recommend my agent to anyone

Re: ENS Visa (121/856) Current Timescales (Part 2.....)

I called the call centre 5 times before and got different answers:

1st - operator told me that she will ask my CO to ring me back but CO didn't call back
2nd - I was told the my application is...

Re: ENS Visa (121/856) Current Timescales (Part 2.....)

I agree with your MA, I called DIAC several times and each operator told me different things. Now, I got a CO and I sent him an e-mail directly. No reply from him. So, I'll just wait and wait too...

same here, I tried to send my CO an e-mail and he hasn't replied yet. I hope he could just send a simple acknowledgement letter sometime next week, or better, a grant letter
