Sounds like a real ballache. I did 7 years in Kuwait and think I spent 3 weeks waiting for a residency and civil ID before the Mrs came out. Essentially, I wont live in Saudi -Ive done my hard time...

Yes, my UK employer is paying me into an offshore account. I think the Saudi agent (who sorted the visit visa will hire me an SUV. Though, as I said above, my concern...

Hi Ash - thanks for the post, much appreciated. Yes, puts my mind at rest a bit but the plan is to live in Bahrain and work in Saudi 3 days a week. I wonder if that is going to be possible?

Hello Folks

I am starting work with a company living in Bahrain (where they have no agent or company) and working in Saudi (where they have an agent) developing business for perhaps 3 days a week...
