I'm not sure where your ceremony will be. rescheduling the ceremony shouldn't be a problem - but as Ian say, it gives more chance for mistakes. Can't you change your 'plane tickets for another later...

Probably just minor confusion here - when I had a GC and moved to a new town I got a letter for jury duty. The postcard had a section to indicate why you couldn't serve and one section was 'Alien'...

Well - Table 21c shows 67 people of US birth became US citizens/nuturalized. Must be one of those non-50 state issues (Virgin or other island?)!

I'm in MA too and my understanding by reading the RMV book was that the 12months rule was applicable only if visiting. Once resident, then I thought that there is no (or is it 7 days?) grace period....
