Called today and they said that it takes 6-8 weeks for registration and that I'm not on the system.

Received my SSN in the mail today and tempted to file another registration with that included.

Called and it asks for SSN to find the record. No reps available to take calls today because it's Saturday I guess.

I was in full time education during the first part of 2012, receiving a student loan. That was the only 'income' to come to me in 2012.

I am COMPLETELY new to taxes in general. I never had to file my own taxes in the UK either.

I'm currently in the market for my first car in the US. One thing I'm stuck on is whether to go for an automatic or a manual.

My wife doesn't get a lot of the UK humor, so often, UK tv is reserved for when I'm on me tod. The I.T. Crowd appears to be an exception.

I'm a little disappointed with how quickly I adapted to US English. Not only in speech, but also spelling. I guess it's a good thing as far as integrating goes, but I feel like I lost a part of 'me'.

I just got word that my I-485 has been approved :D

This is after a worrying period where I was asked for additional evidence after the interview.

The I-130 is in Initial Review.
