I am a member at Benamor which is just outside of Tavira, a full membership is €2000 but you can get a €100 membership + €58 for the PT golf federation which entitles you to play in the club comps...

It's nothing to do with the size of your car, if you have a mini or an estate it's the same price, it's approx €40 return as you also have to pay to cross the bridge, if you have a Via Verde...
