Or go and use a hotels facilities and then you are not stuck with the stupid swimming hats!!!! And there is some lovely hotels with indoor pools that charge you about 5-10 euros to use their pool and...

If you are online at the time and cant get a dish up there is always services such as expat shield where you can watch the iplayer and other things on your laptop, ipad etc.

I find them very similar and we have lived in silves since april 2009 and love it here. The streets are so nice and pretty and its got this amazing atmosphere. And the food is amazing lots of simple...

Silves is brilliant love it there and you can get some really nice two bedroom apartments to rent for about 375 a month. So it depends what you are looking for. We do get the tourists a bit but not...

Yes he is!

Silves is quite near Portimao. I love the Odeceixe area its lovely and we had a drive up to luz yesterday for dinner and it was lovely. I just love this area of the algarve.

With regards to the English language, there are some parts known for pretending that they don’t speak English because they can’t be bothered with you, take Silves for example.

Learning Portuguese...

Yes that is true - I fill up my food cupboads via asda like most people on here but furniture is a different story. I would always be concerned of the cost once you add transport over here.
