I think there is a reporting mechanism now in place, perhaps he can try that as his first port of call?...

Re: Cost of Renovating A House?

It depends on whether you're going to use a builder, in which case expect to add 40% to your costs. We got rid of our handyman masquerading as a builder as soon as I received his quotes and...

Re: What phone did you get your Year 7 kid?

My grade 7 daughter has an ancient (hand-me-down) lg mobile (not even a smart phone). I asked her if she wanted a nicer mobile (Nexus 5 like the one her older sister has) and her exact response was...

Re: MH370 - Kuala Lumpur to Beijing - missing

Of all the speculations touted in the media, this one caught my eye and it sounds entirely plausible. Probably explains why some relatives could hear the mobiles ringing when they called, hours after...

Talking Re: UK High Schools or Australian High Schools

In my daughter's school, the SAC (subject tests) ranking was not based on trials but on the cumulative marks attained on every individual SAC (and they had at least 6-8 tests in each subject...

Now that the VCEs are out of the way, she cleans her room and bathroom (when she feels like it). She cooks her...

Re: Commonwealth Bank - be warned - charges

I think your bank overseas has 2 correspondent banks in Australia - ANZ and Barclays. They have obviously negotiated a better rate with Barclays, so next time you send money, insist on routing it via...

Re: One of those times you hope the BBC is wrong.
