re: Shrimps On The Barbie

Maybe the percentage of complete wankers is less in the Canadian forum? I always feel like I've walked on a secretive chat by people who still use the word darkies and wish Tony Abbott had been a bit...

Re: Will I Vote In The Referendum?

One thing I can always count on, when I remember about this site and swing by every couple of years, is that you will always be here, spouting absolute 100% certified bollocks. Like some fetid...

re: Shrimps On The Barbie

After you've found your feet and worked through the administrative hassles of moving to another country there's not much need for it, particularly if you view yourself as a migrant (permanent) rather...

Re: Have you been jabbed?

Had my first jab last week at the local GP's surgery. The fact that CovID had very little impact on us here (rural south-coast NSW) meant I was quite apathetic about getting it done. There's been no...

Re: VPN for BBC iplayer

After many years of mixed results with various VPNs and Smart DNS services, I bought the missus a subscription to Britbox. You can't sign up if you're not in America, so you just buy a gift voucher...

Re: Seeing the same Rock Star decades and continents apart

I saw one of Depeche Mode's early gigs at the Hitchen Regal as part of the BBC Sight and Sound concert series in the mid-80s. Then saw them again the week before we emigrated, which is a paltry...

Re: Australia's burning

I wondered what the consensus of opinion on the bushfires would be on BE, so swung by to have a squizz. Found myself nodding my head in agreement with very unlikely members such as Amazulu. We live...

Re: How "Australian" do you feel.

Me too. I usually sing "Up up and away in my beautiful ballone" at them and they sometimes understand.

Re: UK TV

SmartDNS is the way to go for sure - we pay for Unlocator and all the UK channels work with no issues whatsoever. VPNs are fine, but they divert the entirety of your Internet traffic through them...

Re: Roll Call...

It was on the "It's happening" side and the row I had then (just checked, it was in 2010) was the first time of many I've had on the subject in the decade since. Can't say it brings back happy...

Re: Roll Call...

I swing by extremely rarely. Sometimes I'll read something and I'll remember one of the many stand-up rows I had here, including the one about climate change with one of the Super Moderators that...

Re: So who's on the NBN?

Thank-you to the myopic alt-right of BE for reminding me why I stopped using this site. **** me dead it's so depressing, I swear these halfwits actually believe Turnbull and Abbott did a knock-out...

Re: Streaming video - my experience

Bought myself a Seedbox a few months ago and consequently have got memberships of a number of private trackers which has taken the lottery out of the downloads. Got sick of hard-coded Korean...

Re: The Trumpmare is happening... Who will win?

You writing the words "The roaring economy" and those other made-up phrases, does not make them true. Sorry, chum. I'd go into further depth on the subject, but since all you've done is typed in some...

Re: The Trumpmare is happening... Who will win?

Who knows what the 'loonies' will turn up, or which cluster**** the halfwit will wander into next? It's possible they'll find nothing before he loses the next election, because like most cowards he...

Re: Drones

I'm well aware of the laws mate, sounds like you aren't. There was a change to CASA regs in September 2016, whereby any drone under 2kg (which mine is) can be flown commercially when abiding by...
