Thank you. I didn't notice the bad English. I remembered I had two diplomas. A 3 year one for Spanish and a two year one for Japanese and they would have worked. It's better that I don't need tem.

all your primary education, and at least three years of your secondary education, at a school or schools that taught in...

The form says I have to prove that I can speak English and provide details of English speaking schools I have attended. These schools have long gone.
Seems to me that the forms are biased towards...

I was born in UK of British parents, grandparents, greatgrand parents etc.
How can I prove that English is my first language. I'll be 70 next week and every school I went to has gone.

It says its valid. I suppose you can go to an agency or a police station. Don't know how it's done in India.

Go to www.immigration.govt.nz/policecertificate

You will find a link to the FBI where you can d/l the fingerprint card and the other forms.

It's your life and you have to live it your way. You'll always regret it if you don't go. My family moved to NZ 4 years ago and I miss them dreadfully but know they made the right choice.

Yes, it's for a police check. The info on the web says it has to be done on their card which I copied and printed. Problem is that fingerprints are taken electronically...
