Re: IELTS-remark ... chances of success

Heey,

unfortunately it doesn't make sense to remark the reading test. It won't change since there is no leeway for the assessor. What I want to say is the answer is either right or wrong but there...

Re: IELTS-remark ... chances of success

Of course they will. As soon as one score changes, the remark-fee will be refunded. Details can be found in the remark-form.

Good luck !

Re: IELTS-remark ... chances of success

Hi,

nobody will be able to tell you how your chances are. My speaking score increased by a whole point to 7.5 but it does not mean that the same will happen to your writing-score. If I was I would...

Re: ACS assessment complete

Did you also sent them the paperwork (signed application, old assessment, ....) ?

They won't start processing before they've received them. :fingerscrossed:

Re: ACS assessment complete

Thanks. "Relevant" is a very elastic word in this context. The job as a sysadmin is definitely relevant to what I am doing now since this is where I've gained the knowledge for my current job. I love...

Re: ACS assessment complete

When the ACS talks about experience, is it "x years general ICT experience" or "x years experience in your designated occupation"? I've been a sys-admin for 6 years and I am working as a BA since...

Re: MCSE which ANZSCO code ? 261111 or 261112

Sorry for the confusion. What I was trying to say is that some DIAC-staff has confirmed that they are awaiting a decision from the ACT whether old GSM ICT-applicants will be allowed to change their...

Re: MCSE which ANZSCO code ? 261111 or 261112

I'm going for a re-assessment and then most probably for a new GSM-application. There are rumours that the DIAC is waiting for a decision from Canberra whether ICTs are allowed to change the...

Re: MCSE which ANZSCO code ? 261111 or 261112

My problem is that I have to direct them towards business analyst rather than System Administrator or System Manager. The latter are of no use for me.Therefore I've tried to emphasize the analytical...

Re: MCSE which ANZSCO code ? 261111 or 261112

Hi Fred,

thanks for your comment. That's why I was writing the sentence below right after listing my tasks to limit it mostly to the Citrix-part:

Also the projects I've listed are all TS...

Re: MCSE which ANZSCO code ? 261111 or 261112

Hi guys,

what do you think of this? I've been assessed as 2231-79 (nec) back in December 2009 and I am now going for a reassessment as a BA (261111). This is what I am doing and what my boss is...

Re: ACS URGENT HELP

Good idea. Think I've saved some money for you ;) Maybe wait for the SMPs to be releases. Could be that some states list admins on their list. Life's really hard these days for ICTs.

Good luck !...

Re: ACS URGENT HELP

Hi mmh,

first of all good luck with your ACS application. I've just got one concern ... as far as I know the ANZSCO code you are heading for (System Administrator) is not listed in the SOL,...

Hi Martyn

wouldn't the landlord of the rental unit be able to confirm that you've been living together?

Re: MAY 2010 VISA APPLICANTS

Hi Vince,

welcome to the club. Just checked my visa-status again and it still says "processing commenced".
I think our last hope is that one of the states puts our occupation on its SMP but to...

If you've got enough time (8 weeks) I'd go ahead and apply for a remark. Chances are not that bad that the result changes.

Re: MAY 2010 VISA APPLICANTS

Re: MAY 2010 VISA APPLICANTS

Check the immi page for priority processing. It will tell you 3 years for "old" offshore non-CSL applications (175/176), 2 years for onshore non CSL, (up to) 12 months for employer-sponsored/new...
