If your parents die whilst you are in Oz ( they live in the UK) How do you make sure you get the assets and not the government?

Say house paid for a little money in bank not much and both has to go...

Thank you also for your advice and reply. I just thought you had 1 shot at a ARTC and was worried if I put the wronge job down and failed my ARTC as I belive they are hard to get.

So if your lucky enough to sell your house before you go to Oz you will have to pay tax on it or am I not picking this up? But if you decide to leave most of your money from the sale of your house...
