Re: What doe teens between 14 und 18 do in the uk?

Re: Artificial Enviroment...

Ah, so it's not just me! I keep getting the weird feeling I'm wandering around a film set rather than a real place...

I just wish someone would yell "Cut!"

Re: 3 reasons why ?

Accurate and succinct.

And yup, Louise D, old, retired, bored and dead pretty much sums it up.

Re: child imigrants who want to return

We're in the south. 40 degrees today. Sweating your balls off the moment you get out of bed.

Re: How many go back to England?

And that's just the Aussies having a barbie.

Sheesh, even the mad Pommy-bashing aussie hates Adelaide! The folks really dragged me to the right place, didn't they?!?!!?

Re: How many go back to England?

I find it hard to credit that Perth could be any duller than Adelaide!

Re: child imigrants who want to return

Oh, Australian weather!

Re: Britain and America voted the worst places to bring up kids

Every single one of my friends who I used to make amateur movies with has ended up in either professional theatre acting, video production, magazine editing, videotape editing, or special effects...

Re: Kids In Uk & Usa, Facts In Oz Too

I'm sorry, but if that survey came from Today Tonight, then I think we can pretty much dismiss it outright.

No kid of mine is being raised in backward aussieland, that much I can tell you!

Re: Britain and America voted the worst places to bring up kids

Re: Whos gone/going back?

I know exactly how you feel. As far back as 92, when I had to do my last school year here, I - and I must stress, I had absolutely no problem or dislike of this country then AT ALL, I was quite happy...

Re: Having a bad time

Re: House is on the market and I've stopped work!

Probably. I've still got more friends in the UK who I haven't seen for a decade and a half than I have in the place I've been LIVING for a decade and a half!
