Yes - what memories! I can't remember the films particularly, but I do remember the popcorn and also those Lucky Bag things - my dad used to buy me one each week and they had those disgusting sweets...

We've booked a week in Palm Cove for August - hopefully as part of OH's validation trip. Chose it because it is close to Cairns but apparently quite quiet and laid back and not so touristy as Cairns....

:confused: Thought you would have to be a British Citizen to get a British passport? Do you qualify for citizenship by descent? That's how I got my Aussie citizenship as my Dad was born in Melbourne

Yes and even going to the trouble of putting a notice on your bedroom door "taping, do not enter"! I think I still have some of those tapes from way back when - will have to look them out for real...
