I think the requirements for the K-3 and K-1 going through Casa are the same:

3 years of taxes is all they said they wanted and I talked to the consul guy personally.

But check with a K-1 er!

My sister did direct consular filing for her husband, since they lived together in Germany for a while and he is now in the US with her, this is a lot faster and you can be reunited much much quicker.

At the Denver office I was told that they WILL not take my AOS application...

From what I have read filing a K-3 does not effect the I-130 processing. They will take forever to approve it just like they are taking forever to approve everyone elses. :)
