My whife and I made a our entry and stayed a week. We went back and my whife stayed 4 months outside US. That was no problem.

We were told to phone after 10 month if it hadn't arrived.

SSN we had to apply for in us and it took about a week.

DV winner and SSN

When I filled out the forms for Immigrations visa I requested a SSN. Arriving in US immigration told me I would get SSN-card by mail.

I got my greencard after only three weeks but still waiting...
