Perth changed a bit. Fremantle though was always a better drinking option and Perth wages buys you a very good night out there.

Engineers now are at the top of the pyramid and tax rates improved.

Yes, Paul Mitchell is easy to get in all the hair/shampoo shops, no need to go to a salon to get them.

From the original list of possible trendy places, there's only one. That's Fremantle. It can be expensive. Beaconsfield and South Fremantle are other options.

3/4 length T shirts and short sleeves during the days. The night times are when you'll notice it's winter. Jeans and boots, and electric blankets then. The pool is nice to look at.

I don't know where Merriwa is. I pay around $30 for a taxi for a 30 min journey. Maybe the equivalent of Hereford to Worcs?
