My IEC visa expires on Tuesday, however my pay does not come through until Thursday. I am working right through until the last day of my visa. When it comes through I will have the $2500 I need to...

Right well I have just got round to starting the second part of my application and all of it is pretty simple except the ****ing police certificate.

Finding work with little time remaining on visa

Hi,

I am in Vancouver and my visa expires in May, I am applying for another (IEC) but until I actually have the SIN number I am not allowed to say I can work beyond the end date of my current one....

It says payment due by 27/12/2013 - presumably I can submit the payment on that date? My bank will be closed xmas and boxing day and I need to make a transfer.

As far as I am aware you can cross the border and return within the hour. You need to have a bank statement with $2500, they will not accept lease or work reference. You could print the statement,...

I live in downtown Vancouver so probably 20+ for me. I like Tim Horton's though, I even have a Tim card.
