My IN laws moved here on the contributory visa a couple of years ago ( not aged) they do get medicare and also they get a commonwealth card which gets them discounts on rates phone bills best check...

Australia's for of private pension

$80,000 ( not including super) take home $60,900

$80,000 (including super) - 9% = $72800 take home $56360

Not all adds mention super , so you would need...

Have just spoke to the Brissie office and the reason it takes an avarage of 3 months is once they recive your app they send off to the Fedral police for a check and this can take 2 months or more
...

The reason I phoned them is because the lady at my council said there should be no problem in making the next ceremony on 7th April , fingers crossed I spose' :unsure:
