I've always found their instructions about photos not being the same as passport ones odd. Every time they ask for new photos there is a comment about them being different to passport photos, but at...

I'm in the same position, what does "The name of the Canadian bank that will pay the Receiver General for Canada will be written on the back of the cheque" mean?? Why do they make everything more...

Is it correct that we can't leave Canada until we have received our PR cards?




Can someone expand on this. Providing everything comes through, we were hoping...

Look at people's signatures, a lot of us include the process time line. For me it's nearly 2 years after getting the initial email confirmation to a MED request.

Thanks, good to know it's likely just them not strictly doing this in the order they come in.
I've now written a letter since they haven't responded to any on-line correspondence. :fingerscrossed:

I'm just concerned that I'm still not in processing. I'm hoping (sorry!) that I'm not alone and it is just them being slow. Most people from July 2010 have at least had the In Processing update.

Still no movement, we're almost on 12 months and still not in processing. I'll be writing a letter shortly, hopefully we move from In Processing to Med's quickly but I don't hold much hope....

Another week and no update for us, the waiting is driving me mad. Life is on hold at the moment waiting for this to progress. Hope someone had some good news today :)
