We had Basa fillets, asparagus and sweet potato mash!

We have started having SPM instead of normal mash as its got a lower glycaemic index .... apparently :thumbsup:

We feel the same, and the irony is that we live in such a beautiful country (Canada) but rarely get out and about to see any of it.

We work 10 hr days (which is an improvement on the 12 I used to...

What has worked for us is ringing up Canadian Affair in the UK and booking the flights that way. Its much cheaper.

You can always try your luck booking at the last minute.

We haven't got the room for any kitchen gadgets (breadmakers included) as we're renting and the kitchen is tiny. We had thought about doing this though.

The last couple of loaves of bread I bought (at Safeway) featured sugar in its various forms near the top of the list of ingredients. Result: horrible toast....

We switched to shopping at Safeway...

In Canada its known as 'Veggie ground round'! Its manufactured by a brand called 'yves'. 'Quorn' is another brand.

When we first asked where to find 'Veggie mince' in the supermarket, they didn't...
