Re: Advice needed on Abu Dhabi

Re: Buying a used car - insurance catch-22

Used...

Re: Abu Dhabi then....

I'd seriously consider commuting Dubai-Abu Dhabi. Get a comfortable car - it makes a big difference to how tired you feel at the end of the trip, and listen to audiobooks. With a good book I'd slow...

Re: CV trouble

First, figure out what sort of job you want. Then write the CV for the job. It's more work, but more specific. You highlight the qualities they're interested in.

A CV is a marketing exercise - you...

Re: Living in Sin

I think it's 2k-3k dirhams each renewal, you have to have minimum salary of 10k per month, and it doesn't sound like a proper residence visa - more like a multi-entry visit visa.

No need to rush...

Re: Flying with Evaair

I used to fly with them from Dubai whenever I could. Best thing was for an extra 10% on the fare, I could get an upgrade to a pseudo business class - not quite the full deal but way better than...

Re: Doing a PGCE outside of Britain

The Dubai one is through Sunderland but it's not the same as a proper PGCE, there's a question mark about your status at the end of it.

Re: Abu Dhabi - Salalah

Have done it from Dubai. From Abu Dhabi cross at Al Ain border, through Nizwa or along coast to Muscat and turn right. Nizwa probably quicker and more scenic. Takes 12-14 hours in one hit at 120kph....

Re: U.A.E to Qatar via road
