Few provinces have speeded the process when from certain countries but the process is new so process time is unclear. Registration as a nurse regardless of province is expensive whether initially...

It varies depending if the employer acknowledges your experience. Most do but it’s not guaranteed

NNAS should be started sooner rather than later as the process can be long. A lot of job offers for nurses usually state have provincial nurse license or eligibility to have it which means you need...

A lot will depend on the state your sister wants to live and work in plus transcripts. If California is the state then it’s one of the toughest US states to register with

Most employers will require a license or a letter stating you meet requirements and eligible to sit NCLEX. Also I believe there are a couple of provinces that will not issue a license without proof...

Issues are UK nurse training doesn’t meet US requirements unless you have both clinical and theory hours in Paeds, Mental Health, Obstetrics and Adult on your transcripts.

Correct NNAS is the first step. Before starting that process you need to decide where you want to live and work as I believe NNAS will want to know which provincial college of RN to send paperwork...
