Age Limit for immigration?

I am wondering....If one has crossed the 50 age limit, does the person still have chances to migrate to Australia under work related category or is it too late? I am a New Zealand Citizen.

So I guess it is just like a regional sponsorship where one has to work for the employer for a minimum of two years.
