My potential employer asked for two employer ref from last two employers. then offered the contract - didn't have to go through any checks as above...

now wondering why i didnt have to go through...

Feb to Oct is a long time - how much time did you spend negotiating?

My status:

1) Contract signed with an agreed start date 15th Jan
2) HR person said she will apply the employment visa...

had a call this morning to renegotiate the offer; said "not a one dhrm more" (even if i go to my snrs) as much as i know it's true i wanted to close this sooner so i can move there (hopefully) for...

the offer is good, just wanted to haggle for an easy win...

the company is good, job is good, location is fine, relocation is paid for etc so can't...

Going by the second interview gut feel; the guy was pretty interested... he was European too... so expecting good news TBH :-)
